How to get help!
You have many places to turn for help in this course and we encourage you to make use of the ones that work best for
you!
Tips for Success
A good first place to go if you have questions or challenges is your lab or lecture instructor's office hours. The
schedule for these is below and we encourage you to drop by our office hours (no appointment necessary) to discuss
what's on your mind! You also have a number of TA hours where one or multiple TAs who have taken this course before
are available to help you with assignments.
Here are some additional tips related to specific components of the course:
- Labs and Projects: Come to lab ready to focus on the new project. Ask the instructor and TAs for help
when you need it.
- Midterms: Study for the midterms by making a strong effort on every question in the project reflection sections. Ask questions if something isn't clear! Review these reflection section questions to check your understanding of the material before the
midterm.
- Final Exam: The final exam will be similar to another midterm. The best way to study for the final exam is to retake all of the old midterms. Also, read through your notes and make sure you understand everything in them.
- In general: If you find you are struggling, let us know! We want you to succeed and will do our best to
consider each students' individual needs. Additionally, we highly recommend attending the evening TA sessions,
but there are also a limited number of personal tutors available upon request.
